To add to the ambiance of this authentic Outer Banks style cottage, antique wide-plank heartpine floors accent the upstairs living area and foyer. Two fireplaces, one in the living room, and one in between the master bedroom and bathroom, create a setting for intimate chats and cozy and romantic evenings.

 

Step back in time and enjoy the owner's collection of over 60 historic, black and white Outer Banks photographs, historic maps, paintings and prints, all artistically presented, that capture the essence of vintage coastal Outer Banks living.

 

The cottage is conveniently located on the oceanside, approximately 10-minute walk on lighted sidewalks to the beach with direct ocean access, midway between the Four Seasons Clubhouse, gameroom and indoor pool, and the playground and outdoor pool. A free trolley that runs continually in the "high" season and picks up in front of the cottage make getting around Four Seasons, going to the beach, or into Duck "ezie".

 

After a day of exploring the quaint village of Duck, enjoying the pools, tennis courts, playgrounds, soundside pier, and the many other amenities of Four Seasons, and taking in the sun, beach and ocean breezes, renew yourself in the luxurious tile showers, or the jet tub, and settle into well appointed and cozy king size beds. Each of the 7 bedrooms has its own private full bathroom with private shower and bath with transom windows.

 

For those who have recreation in mind, enjoy the large swimming pool and hot tub, grill poolside on the two outdoor grills, or enjoy your favorite music and beverages while lounging under the logia or sitting at the pool's outdoor wet bar, equipped with a T.V. and sound system. While inside, the recreation room offers a pool table, an area for enjoying card and board games, and a big screen T.V. for watching sports or viewing your favorite movie.

 

With so much to enjoy, don't forget to set aside some quiet time just to read a good book in the big wicker chairs on the screened sitting porch, or relax on the large open deck facing the ocean to soak up the sun.
